This chapter contains information and guidelines on the mailability of
hazardous materials, restricted matter, and perishable matter that may be
sent as international mail. Additional information on these subjects is
contained in Chapters 3, 4, and 5; the International Mail Manual (IMM)
135-139; and DMM 601.9-601.11.
The primary mailing regulations on which these guidelines are based are
found in the IMM and DMM.
