Express Mail delivery is offered 365 days a year in many locations. A small premium applies for Sundays or holiday delivery. Express Mail packaging supplies (envelopes, boxes, tubes) are available at no cost from your local Post Office. If getting your mail there overnight is your highest priority, then Express Mail is the best choice. Many businesses use First-Class Mail, Priority Mail, or Standard Mail for regular mailings and Express Mail for important business documents, like contracts and sales orders.

Express Mail prices are based on the weight of the piece, and how far the piece travels except when USPS provided Express Mail Flat Rate packaging is being used.
