The Postal Service has issued revised Customer Support Ruling (CSR), PS-238, Renewal Notices. The CSR provides guidance under current Domestic Mail Manual (DMM) standards, as well as revised standards that go into effect June 1, 2005, concerning the use of “personal information” in matter that is either eligible to be mailed as Standard Mail or required to be sent as First-Class Mail.
