Electronic Verification System — Manifest and Postage Payment 

We published a proposal in today’s Federal Register that requires mailers to use the Electronic Verification System (e-VS) for manifesting and postage payment of all Parcel Select mailings. These mailings include all Standard Mail machinable parcels and all other Package Services parcels (Bound Printed Matter, Media Mail, and Library Mail) when commingled with Parcel Select mailings. Mailers must barcode all packages and use an electronic manifest to use e-VS.
