New Standards for Polywrap on Automation Flat-Size Mail

We published a notice for comment in today’s Federal Register proposing new standards for polywrap film used on automation-rate flat-size mail. The new standards provide one set of specifications for automation polywrap, and would eliminate the different specifications for AFSM 100 and UFSM 1000 processing. The new standards would improve our ability to process polywrapped pieces on our primary flat-mail processing equipment.
