Delivery Confirmation Service Expanded

Beginning August 19, Delivery Confirmation service is available to most APO/FPO locations and to some Pacific Island destinations. Enhancements to our scanning equipment and transmission capabilities make this expansion possible. Please note ― this change does not include Signature Confirmation service.

Please share this information with your Retail Manager and other personnel throughout your district.

4-State Customer Barcode Debuts

Mailers may use the 4-State Customer Barcode on First-Class Mail letters beginning September 1. Mailers may use the new barcode instead of a POSTNET barcode for automation discounts and to encode routing and tracking information and ancillary services.  We developed the 4-State Customer Barcode in partnership with the mailing industry to offer enhanced tracking capability and greater visibility in the mailstream.
