New Interim Temporary Mail Forwarding Policy

We published a notice and request for comments in today’s Federal Register changing the duration of temporary change-of-address orders. Beginning August 3, customers can only file a temporary change-of-address order for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of six months. Customers can submit comments on the new policy until August 7. After August 7, we will evaluate the comments to see if the new policy should be revised.
