New Standards for Mailing Sharps and Other Regulated Medical Waste

 

We published a notice for comment in today’s Federal Register proposing new standards for mailing sharps and other regulated medical waste containers. Our proposal includes changes to the packaging, the package testing, and the process for authorizing and suspending mailer authorization. We are proposing to make these changes on July 6, 2006.
