Unpaid and Shortpaid Information-Based Indicia Postage Meters and PC Postage Products

We are extending the comment period on this proposed Federal Register notice.
       
On November 18, 2009, we published a proposed rule in the Federal Register (74 FR 59494) to implement revenue assurance procedures for information-based indicia (IBI) postage generated from postage evidencing systems and PC PostageŽ products.

       
Comments were originally requested by December 18, 2009. We have decided to extend the current comment period an additional 60 days, until February 17, 2010. For more details, go to Postal Explorer at pe.usps.com, and click on Federal Registers Notices in the left frame.
