Postage Refunds and Stamp Exchanges

Today, the Refunds and Exchanges proposed rule was posted on the Federal Register website and soon it will be posted on the Postal Explorer^® website under Federal Register Notices.

The rule proposes to revise the Domestic Mail Manual (DMM^®) to remove obsolete standards about postage refunds and stamp exchanges; to standardize processes for requesting refunds for extra services and PC Postage^® labels; and to change the methods for calculating refund amounts, all in light of technological advances that have expanded authorized methods for paying postage and requesting postage refunds.
