New Standards for Origin Entry Separation and Containerization Proposed

Today, on the Postal Explorer^® website, we posted an advance copy of the Origin Entry Separation and Containerization Standards Federal Register proposed rule. 

The new standards — designed in collaboration with mailing industry partners — will simplify mail preparation requirements for mail entered at origin, either as an entire mailing or residual volume for plant verified drop shipment (PVDS) mailings.

These new standards also will result in improved efficiency and cost savings for mailers and the USPS^®.
