New Shipping Initiatives – Update

We published three Federal Register notices today to finalize the new shipping initiatives announced last week:

Priority Mail Large Flat-Rate Box:  For Domestic [HTML] | [PDF] and International [HTML] | [PDF] Shipments

This new flat-rate box is approximately 50 percent larger than the regular flat-rate boxes currently available and can be used for both domestic and international shipments. The new box is identified by the words “Large Flat-Rate Box” printed on the packaging. Our prices represent great value for our customers.

Domestic prices

§          $10.95 to military (APO/FPO) addresses. A special version of the box for the military features the logo, "America Supports You.”

§          $12.95 to all other domestic addresses.

International prices

§          $29.95 to Canada and Mexico.

§          $49.95 to all other countries.

Express Mail Sunday/Holiday Delivery Premium [HTML] | [PDF]

We will charge a $12.50 premium, in addition to postage, for guaranteed Sunday or holiday delivery of Express Mail items. Customers may also choose guaranteed delivery on the next delivery day at the standard Express Mail price.

These new prices and products are effective March 3, 2008.
