Detached Address Labels

Today the Federal Register [HTML] | [PDF] published our new mailing standards requiring detached address labels (DALs) to be automation-compatible and use a delivery point POSTNET or Intelligent Mail barcode when they accompany saturation mailings of Periodicals or Standard Mail flats. These standards do not apply to DALs with simplified addresses.

The new standards are effective March 2.
